Buying

Attending a Cyberauction is fun and exciting! Let's look at the four steps of buying at an auction:

  1. Registration

If this is your first visit to cyberauctions.com you need to register an account with us by filling out the registration form. You must be at least 18 years old to register and participate in the auction. Registration is free and you have no obligation to buy anything. Also, you are not required to release any sensitive information like credit card numbers. We do not sell your personal data to any mailing list. If you're already registered please login.

  2. Bidding

Click Auctions for a currently “active” list. Auctions are a group of one or more lots that make up an auction. All lots in a given auction will close or end at the same time. When you find an item of interest click on it for further details and to bid. A complete description of the item along with the terms and conditions are available for you review. Please note that there may or may not be a buyers premium on the item. Also note that if the quantity is more than 1 the system will multiply your bid. For Example: Quantity (4) Chairs, you place a bid of $10.00 your total will be $40.00. Totals will display when you finalize or reconfirm your bid. For security reasons you must enter your password each time you bid. The bidding system also has a Max bid feature. To utilize the Max bid simple enter the highest amount that you would pay for a lot. Amounts need to be in the same increments that are displayed in the description area. The system will then automatically bid for you up to the amount you bid. Bids that are placed first win any tie bids. It's that easy. You will be notified by email when you are not the high bidder. If you wish to bid again follow the link back to cyberauctions.com and submit another bid. For quick access check out your bids from your Personal Control Center.

    Bidding errors
Placing a bid on an item is an irrevocable offer to buy an item at the price of the bid. We will not cancel bids simply because a bidder has changed his or her mind-there must be a legitimate reason to do so. If you've made an error while placing a bid, please contact us immediately and explain why you need to cancel the bid.

  3. Paying

If you are the winning bidder at the close of an auction you will receive an e-mail asking you to come and pay your invoice. Outstanding and Past invoices can be found from your Personal Control Center. It is your responsibility upon winning the bid to follow through and complete the purchase. Generally payment needs to be in the form of Visa or Master Card. Your bankcard statement will say Cascade Auctions. Sellers may have special payment requirements or require that payment needs to take place at the sellers place of business. This is generally the case with lots that include vehicles or Real Estate.

  4. Shipping

Most items are sent via United Parcel Service (UPS) at the priority you choose. Overnight or second day is available at your request. Rates vary on each shipment.
